Christian mothers urged to invest in spiritual growth
Christian mothers are encouraged to invest in their spiritual growth by praying at least 5 decades of the Rosary daily.
Correspondent Confidence Bartholomew reports that the Rector of Omnium Sanctorum Chaplaincy Thinkers Corner Enugu and the Vice-Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke gave the advice during a Retreat for members of the Catholic Women Organization held in the chaplaincy.
Reverend Father Prof. Anieke described the Rosary as the strongest prayer, stressing that it symbolized the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He enjoined the mothers to emulate Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ and ensure that they prayed the rosary with total submission to God.
The president of the CWO of the Chaplaincy, Nneoma Oby Ukonta, said the retreat impacted spiritually on the women and every area of life, stressing that it was the first retreat they had as an organization in the chaplaincy
