Ebonyi: PDP vow to appeal Guber tribunal judgment

The Peoples Democratic Party in Ebonyi has vowed to appeal the judgment upholding the election of Francis Nwifuru as the Governor of the state.

The party also urged its supporters in the state to remain calm and peaceful, assuring that the party would reclaim its mandates at the appellate court.

The Deputy Chairman of the party in the state, Ifeanyi Nworie, said after the judgment that the party is would be going for appeal noting that the tribunal admitted that the issue of membership and defection can be tried in the court and at the appeal court.
