Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu Commences Admissions Into 2020/2021 Session

Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu has commenced admissions into the 2020/2021 session.

A statement by the Director of Academic Planning and Services of the university, Rev. Sr. Dr. MarySylvia Nwachukwu said the basic requirements for full admission are O’Level result with five credits in the required subjects of chosen course of study, including English and Mathematics as well as a minimum JAMB score of 200 for Faculty of Law and 160 for other Faculties.

According to Dr. Nwachukwu, candidates who did not choose Godfrey Okoye University as their first choice university can do change of institution to make Godfrey Okoye their first choice university. She made it clear that possession of JAMB Admission Letter completes the admission process.

The Director stated that candidates can apply through the UTME with appropriate JAMB score while requests for direct entry must be with 2020 JAMB Direct Entry Form.

Rev. Sr. Dr. Nwachukwu explained that JUPEB candidates with a good O’Level result are equally eligible to apply, stressing that those for Postgraduate Programme must have first Degrees.

On the admission Procedure, candidates are expected to visit: www.gouni.edu.ng  and click “Admission”, follow the guideline, fill the form and submit it.

She stated that on submitting the form, a reply will be sent to the candidates email address and urged the candidates to give an active address pointing out that within three working days, applicant will know whether admission is granted or not. Candidates can apply for admission into any programme in the Faculties of Arts; Education; Law; Management and Social Sciences; Natural Sciences and Environmental Studies.

On payment of Fees, the Director said the candidate can start paying fees after receiving news of successful admission.

She said the payments include Acceptance Fee, Tuition, ICT and other fees.
