The already functional online learning platform was one of the initiatives introduced by the Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke in his Easter message and renewal of his vow as a Catholic Priest when his marked his 20th Priesthood Anniversary. He noted that Godfrey Okoye and its group of Institutions will find a new way of connecting and finishing up on the academic year. He went further to deploy the robust online learning platform with the University’s ICT Unit to continue to teach students outside the GO Uni physical setting.
Students are advised to visit the GOUNI Online Learning Platform on the University’s website www.gouni.edu.ng

Today, I renewed my vow as a Catholic Priest. It is the 20th anniversary of my priesthood.
Today I feel specially connected with you as a member of our GO University family. I pray for you and feel always connected with you spiritually. Yesterday as I was having a meeting with our international partners all over the world via the new Zoom technology, I saw a new way of connecting, of moving on, in spite of the required social distance. I said after the meeting: human beings will wither all storms by God’s grace.
We at GO and its group of institutions will be on top of all this. This explains why we are deploying our robust online learning platform to continue to teach our students outside the GO Uni physical setting. Therefore, do not be afraid.
The resurrection of Christ is the assurance of our continuity and rising from the darkness of fear or death that surrounds humanity through this pandemic.
As a University on the go and God’s own University, we know that God will protect and continue to bless the work we are doing. So let’s match on, with deep faith and love! Let’s continue our research, teaching and learning! Nothing can stop our students from continuing and finishing their studies! So let’s go! We are the Catholic university on the go!
Happy Easter to you all!
Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke
