Godfrey Okoye University Launches Radio School for Primary School Pupils

As part of measures to ensure the completion of the 2019/2020 academic year, the Management of Godfrey Okoye Group of Institutions has introduced the Radio School. The Radio School programme is designed for teaching and learning for Godfrey Okoye University Primary School pupils. This is in line with the Vice Chancellor’s commitment to ensuring students of all the Godfrey Okoye Group of Institutions complete the 2019/2020 Academic session.
The GOUNI Radio School programme will cover a 30 minutes primary school lessons for pupils in Primary One to Six and will feature teachers of Godfrey Okoye University Primary School.
In a statement by the School Management, the programme is scheduled as follows:
- Lessons in Primary 1 to 3 begins on 4th May, 2020, 9:30 – 10:00 am, Monday to Friday.
- Lessons in Primary 4 to 6 begins on 4th May 2020 as well, 1:00 – 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
GOUNI Radio 106.9fm from Monday, 4th May, 2020 will broadcast the GOUNI Radio School for each week and will cover all subjects.

The management explained that the radio school have been approved by the Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke.
They advised pupils of Godfrey Okoye university primary school to participate effectively in the radio classes.
The Management also appealed to parents and guardians to ensure their children and wards show active interest in the programme as the contents of the classes would be used to test the knowledge of the pupils.
