GOUNI Graduates Charged to Become Exemplary Ambassadors

Graduates of Godfrey Okoye University have been charged to go into the world as morally, spiritually, and academically grounded ambassadors of the institution.

Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, gave this charge during a Holy Mass to open activities for the university’s 13th Convocation.

He cautioned graduates against alcohol addiction, negative habits, and behaviours capable of derailing their spiritual and moral foundation.
Prof. Anieke stressed that despite rising global conflicts, those rooted in God will enjoy peace.

He also urged Christians to shun jealousy and procrastination triggered by misleading social media content.

A highlight of the Mass was the baptism of Master Nathan Chiazokam Ogbodo.
Principal officers also briefed attendees on the week-long convocation activities.
The Mass marked the beginning of Advent and formally opened the 13th Convocation ceremonies.
