Kogi 2023: Police promies level playing ground to parties

The Kogi State Police Command has promised a level playing field for all political parties taking part in the November 11 governorship election in the state.

The command also denied knowledge of any planned attack on the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Alhaji Muritala Ajaka, describing such as fake, malicious, and misleading.

A statement issued by the force spokesperson in the state, SP William Aya, stated that the attention of the Kogi State Police Command has been drawn to a fake, malicious, and misleading allegation making the rounds by one Faruk Adejoh-Audu, Director Communications, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation, to the effect that the Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha plans to attack Ajaka supporters in Kogi LGA.
