The WHO has made a flash appeal for $8m while aid groups warned of a worsening humanitarian crisis in war-torn Myanmar following a magnitude 7.7 earthquake
According to report, Nearly 72 hours after the disaster, the country’s military leaders have confirmed 1,700 dead and hundreds missing
They are also still carrying out air strikes against armed resistance groups who have been fighting them for four years,
The quake was reportedly felt hundreds of miles away in neighbouring countries like Thailand, where the death toll has risen to 18.
