The Niger Delta Development Commission has commenced an engagement with media outlets in the region to foster cooperation and enhance the dissemination of information regarding the commission’s operations and programmes.

Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr Pius Ughakpoteni made this known when he led a group from the NDDC corporate communication team to a courtesy visited to  the Port Harcourt offices of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria and other media organizations

Ughakpoteni in a remark said that members of his team, which included the Director of Branding and Standardisation, Mr Erteka Oyo, were passionate advocates for the continuous growth and prosperity of the Niger Delta region stressing that the ongoing visits would extend to  all media organisations

He noted that the mission of NDDC is to serve as a catalyst for the development of the Niger Delta region as they seek partnership, not just as media organisations but as stakeholders in the Niger Delta project.
