Officials of different faculties of universities in Nigeria have been charged to find solutions to the various problems facing the country.

The Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke gave the charge during an event to mark the foundation day of the university.

He said the priority of the management was to make all the sectors of the institution strong so that they could contribute meaningfully to the positive development of the nation.

The Vice-Chancellor noted that the university which started in 2009 with two faculties now had five faculties, a college of Medicine, School of Nursing and a school of postgraduate studies, stressing that the institution was ranked one of the best private universities in Nigeria and the best in the South East and South-South regions of Nigeria.

Reverend Father Professor Anieke remarked that though 15 years of existence seemed short, it had been a difficult journey, especially with the situation of things in Nigeria.

Message of goodwill were delivered by representatives of the students, principal officers, and deans of the various faculties of the university
