Today, a gathering of remarkable minds came together at Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, to celebrate the 2023 Sister Prof. MaryGloria Njoku Peace Conference. This event, aimed at fostering peace and dialogue, was inaugurated by the university’s Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, who was represented by the Director of the DNA Centre located at the main campus of the university in Ugwuomu, Prof. George Udeh.

The conference brought together a diverse array of speakers who shared their insights on peace, education, and community engagement. These prominent figures included Dr. Nnamdi N.S. Ene, the Registrar of the university; Ike Okere, the former Zonal Director of FRCN in Enugu; and Mr. Christopher Uwakwe, the Director of the Directorate of Entrepreneurship at the university. The esteemed university Librarian, Dr. Juliana Iwu-James, also graced the occasion with her presence.

Prof. Dr. Christian Anieke supported by the Senate of the University to serve as a broadcast medium to inform, educate, entertain and enlighten the host community and the general public.
