Three Students Disciplined for Misconduct at GOUni

In a resolute effort to maintain a strong moral code and eradicate criminal behavior on its campuses, Godfrey Okoye University (GOU) in Enugu has taken decisive action against three students found guilty of engaging in improper acts. The announcement came from the esteemed Vice Chancellor of GOU, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, during an address to the university’s staff and student body, as well as its affiliated institutions.

Vice Chancellor Reverend Fr. Prof. Anieke disclosed that among the offenders, two were enrolled in the 200 level of their studies, while one was in the 100 level. He reiterated the university’s commitment to bolstering security measures, highlighting the installation of surveillance cameras and other security equipment across the campus to ensure the safety of lives and property.

Furthermore, Reverend Fr. Prof. Anieke emphasized the institution’s unwavering stance on negative actions and encouraged students to steer clear of any activities that do not align with the university’s principles and values.

Addressing the gathering, the Spiritual Director of the University, Reverend Father Theophilus Ndulue, urged both the staff and students to leave a positive and lasting legacy in their respective environments. Reverend Fr. Ndulue acknowledged the valuable contributions of former students and staff members to the growth and development of the institution.

The announcement and gathering were attended by principal officers, university staff, and students from various departments and the university’s affiliated institutions.

Godfrey Okoye University Radio 106.9 FM launched in 2014 as a campus radio station and began operation on the 21st of October, 2015 through the effort of our formidable Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Dr. Christian Anieke supported by the Senate of the University to serve as a broadcast medium to inform, educate, entertain and enlighten the host community and the general public.
