VC charges faculties to draw inspiration from the college of medicine

Any faculty of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu which failed to excel like the university ‘s college of medicine will be closed.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke announced this during a Thanksgiving Holy Mass for the successful completion of the 2nd MB Examination of the institution’s Medical students.

Reverend Father Professor Anieke said that the officials of the college had performed excellently that the College of Medicine now serve as a role model for other arms of the university.

The Vice-Chancellor was optimistic that with the sustenance of the performance, the pioneer medical students would graduate as successful medical doctors on the 28th of June 2028.

The Priest described the requirements and training of medical doctors as starting a new university.

The Vice-Chancellor said the management of the university would ensure that officials of the institution’s teaching hospital do their best to take good care of the students as they carry out their practical training.

“The university will always encourage its students to move from zero to the highest, Reverend Father Professor Anieke remarked.

“Connecting with God is replenishing what God has given you; there is connection between prayer and success”, Reverend Father Professor Anieke stated.

The Vice-Chancellor said the event was a celebration of hardwork and enjoined the students to double their success at the Teaching Hospital.

The Highpoints of the Thanksgiving Holy Mass were the baptism of the child of Dean, Students Affairs of the main campus of the university, Mr. Friday Okemini and first Holy Communion for one of the 300 level medical students, Mr. Stanley Nwobodo

Godfrey Okoye University Radio 106.9 FM launched in 2014 as a campus radio station and began operation on the 21st of October, 2015 through the effort of our formidable Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Dr. Christian Anieke supported by the Senate of the University to serve as a broadcast medium to inform, educate, entertain and enlighten the host community and the general public.
